History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. Lia is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Lia was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Assassin they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Junk Dealer, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister.

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Gardener hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and doesn't want to be a gardener and was forced into it by her family

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered west to less war torn lands. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). He carries with him a set of shortspears on his belt, each one with a amber on the hilt. His white hair is knotted and matted. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady brown eyes.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Jocelyn fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Berrian embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Berrian was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Berrian was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Berrian's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and her religion dominates her actions

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Soapmaker. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 12 years.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.
