Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.
History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Guard hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Barkeep they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Guard, and he later adopted a second son.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Guard and was forced into it by his family; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He invites people to come help in his community garden.
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Through the years after Elegant was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Elegant's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and balancing his hectic life and new mayor responsibilities is difficult

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he has a large black mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his pastel robe. His hair, while still mostly chestnut, has prominent grey streaks. His eyes are likewise gold. His teeth are white and perfect.
Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Spice Merchant. He struck the Spice Merchant job and began his own company from there.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Spice Merchant responsibilities is difficult.

History: Jacoba was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 13 years.
