History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Spring alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her childhood dream was to be a Baker, but she was a colossal failure. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Aust was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and wants to open a new tavern
