History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. History: Bertram was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Bertram abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Bertram was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Fortune-teller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
