She found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Thoradin grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Thoradin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born in the east to a Shipwright, Seere learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Shipwright work with an outfit from a few towns over. Shipwright work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, she put together a working one.
