Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: River hails from a village terrorized by goblins. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. River took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up spear and armor he uses now. He bought a spear and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and doesn't want to be a servant and was forced into it by his family

History: Laucian was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Halfling in existence. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: He was born into a rich family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He worked as a nervous Bather and found it very stressful. He has worked as a Bather like his father before him.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and to be a bricklayer again

Personality: She hates gnolls. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing music.

History: Damaia was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: The woman has a huge range of feeling. She will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how she will be a better person from this day on. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Megren was born in the south. At a young age she loved to build and create. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered music. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: To pay off her debts; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Tiefling companion (her 'brother'). She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Many gnolls want her driven away; and she wants revenge against gnolls

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Being a Stableman kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and a rival would like him out of the picture
