History: Leaf was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She tends to her Butcher job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Crown-heir hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.

Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family She was taken from her home at a very young age. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, she put together a working one.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: Bork was born the youngest of three triplets. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: Veit was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: He has a large tan mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his black robe. He carries with him a set of halberds on his belt, each one with a topaz on the hilt. He wears his chestnut hair down. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep hazel.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Jebeddo embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He is a great chef.

History: Jebeddo lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Jebeddo fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Guard and was forced into it by his family.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Scribe. She became a Scribe soon after.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and she is wracked by social anxiety
