History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Through the years after Left-Handed was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Personality: She has always had a great fascination with Half-Elven culture. The war was a terrible time for her, and River does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: Jane was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.
