Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with her Mercenary father left her crippled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and she seems to be bored by most things

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: Altho is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He got into the Cartwright business at a young age. A gifted student he started as a Ploughman, but he got bored and became a Cartwright. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Cartwright for hire.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Xappan is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Jade was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.
