History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Miner. He now owns his own business.

History: Gifted from a young age, Susannah studied abroad. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Barber for hire.

Description: She stands about 6'1" and wears a brown tunic with green highlights, and long white pants that bunch up around her shoes. Her right hand appears badly burned and disfigured. Her hair is red and curly. Her hazel unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Beatrice grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Beatrice. Being a Bather kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Bookbinder. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has achieved small success as a Bookbinder.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and wants to open a new tavern

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He's also a talented Courier, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Description: A woman with a cold, calculating air about her, she wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with grey lining and desert motifs. She has a very tight haircut. Her eyes are blue and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Balifra grew up listening to her father's many stories. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Balifra fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Joan abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.
