History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Justin hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his painting career. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: The child of a Mortician, who enjoyed hunting, Justin was taken on many hunting expeditions. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has never given up on his painting dream.

History: Shifting was born with her father's beautiful face. Shifting was born on a far northern mountains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Merchant. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Fisher they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Merchant, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother
