History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He became a Butcher soon after.

Personality: Balam is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: Gifted from a young age, Emeny studied abroad. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.
