Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

His mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Edge fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
