History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Modean was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Modean fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Soapmaker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Soapmaker work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: A woman with a friendly, welcoming air about her, she dresses well, wearing white shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. Her long golden hair reaches down to her waist. Her hazel eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered north to less war torn lands. She saw the violence of war and the aftermath so she converted to religion and dedicated herself to non-violence.

History: Cloud lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He found a children's book about a Tabaxi Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: She is a hateful person. She taunts others and blames them for her problems. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: Hadwisa was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Her mother worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled mother and took her mother's old job. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Dalaba has worked very hard to control her curse. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out
