Description: This man is very fat, and is renowned for his bright green suits and hats. His red hair is matted, messy, and big. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is a Shipwright first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: The child of a Sailor, who enjoyed hunting, Valafar was taken on many hunting expeditions. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Valafar grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Valafar. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average woman, she is not imposing. She wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. She conceals her trident with her veritable burlap sack of a shirt. Her auburn hair is smooth and relatively long. Her eyes are likewise brown. Her teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: Griselda is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While she appears to be a normal Half-Elf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Oppah isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Gnomish unity. She takes great pride in her work and is very well organized. Her planner is full of calendar events.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dragonborns in the north were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: The child of a Gardener, who enjoyed hunting, Maegan was taken on many hunting expeditions. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She bought a bastard sword and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal.

Description: This dark-skinned male wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with broad hat. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His gray eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He is a Slaad in disguise. Through the years after Lance was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Lance's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Expand his business.

Description: He is in excellent shape and tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He is bald on top and has large auburn tufts of hair around his ears. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: Lucan wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Lucan alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants revenge against drow; and a deep hatred of drow

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. Her first spouse was a Shepherd, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Marry her sister to traveling adventurers; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister
