History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He's also a talented Detective, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 11 years.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered west to less war torn lands. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Andraste was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She now owns her own business.

His hair is long and red with streaks of chestnut, and is pulled back with small grey clips. His beard is chestnut, braided, and well cared for. This gray eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.
