History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Alex was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Vadania has worked very hard to control her curse. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: Mreksh was born with his mother's beautiful face. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Personality: Ghash speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born in a small mountains village. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
