Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Umpen will drive conversation. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered dancing. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Umpen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Richard has worked very hard to control his curse. History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Mardred was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood.
