When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Unemployed hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). In the meantime he has taken over work as a Painter and occasionally as a mercenary.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Through the years after Alex was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Alex's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. The war was a terrible time for her, and Oriel does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She now owns her own business.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Unemployed and was forced into it by his family; and wants to raise his children well
