History: Hethress was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She worked as a nervous Map Maker and found it very stressful. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Burana fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His golden hair is knotted and matted. His gray eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his painting with anyone who is interested.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Description: Dark and lean, she is a relatively plain woman. She wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. She sports a flattop hair cut. Her eyes are silver and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Pyra wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She seeks to pay back kindness whenever she gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip she always seeks to do solids for her friends.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Interpreter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is greedy; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: 6'4" and muscular, this western man is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Gifted from a young age, Mormo studied abroad. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Through the years after Taklinn was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Taklinn's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Altho was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Bookbinder. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Baker for the past few years.
