His father taught him the rudiments of the Sellsword arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.
History: Gifted from a young age, Kaladan studied abroad. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Sage for the past few years.
