History: Azdûsh was born the youngest of three triplets. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Detective. He has worked as a Detective like his mother before him.

History: Born to a Knight, his father struggled to pay the bills. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and he wants revenge against illithids

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Bookbinder profession.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: An older man who is dressed in an above average manner, he is not a threatening figure. His crest, while still mostly bronze, has prominent grey streaks. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. The war was a terrible time for him, and Shedinn does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Gifted from a young age, Shedinn studied abroad. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Shedinn was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 13. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. While she appears to be a normal Tabaxi, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.
