History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Jarana grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Dwarven companion (her 'brother'). During her travels, Jarana and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Jarana discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Jarana fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying west to reunite her family. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.
