History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. History: Raer hails from a village terrorized by illithids. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Shoemaker and was forced into it by his family; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he is content

He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
