History: Merihim was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 44. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. After a long history of fighting, Kelter and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He is a great chef.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Tanner. He was granted druidic powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he wears a yellow small hat and yellow clothes. He wears his blonde hair up in a very large beehive style do. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are violet.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Berrian took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up dagger and armor he uses now. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Berrian never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. She is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Alexandre grew up listening to his father's many stories. A gifted student he started as a Gardener, but he got bored and became a Courier. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Marshal. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Marshal for the past few years.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: This woman is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. She wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. Her brown hair is long and unkept. Her blue eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She would like to get married and retire; and to settle down with her crush
