He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Lance was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
