Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Born in the east to a Glassblower, Nirgel learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gifted student he started as a Brewer, but he got bored and became a Mortician. He became a Mortician soon after.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Burto was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. History: Shadow was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
