History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Kaladan was a troubled youth. Kaladan decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Gomory was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
