History: He was born into a rich family. When Bucklal reached his early adolescence his Halfling mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He now owns his own business.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the giants.

She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and someone believes her a fraud

History: Balimaar lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.
