History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Laucian was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Laucian was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Laucian's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A freak accident while working with his Barkeep father left him crippled. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids.
