History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered drow who tried to eat his hand. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Painter for hire.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he wants revenge against drow

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Dwarves. His skin is dark but he possesses many violet ritualistic tattoos. He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. He has chestnut hair. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. After a long history of fighting, Kilvar and his spouse have recently divorced.
