She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside her partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Sarah's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. The war was a terrible time for her, and Sarah does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered dancing. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Navigator. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: He is a Maurezhi in disguise. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.
