History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: To be a Scribe again.

Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears an entirely white suit with red socks and a vest with buckled shoes. His hair is long and white with streaks of red, and is pulled back with small white clips. His beard is red, braided, and well cared for. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. A true patriot, Ratak would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Ratak lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and money/treasure

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: This woman stands a little under 5'3" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She wears tattered old clothes. Her hair, while still mostly golden, has prominent grey streaks. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the south.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Animal Trainer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Scribe, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son.

He prefers to carry a greatsword, but if one is not available he will default to his longsword. His red hair is knotted and matted. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born into a rich family. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the west were limited. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His divine abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To be a Sellsword again; and expand his business

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. As a very small child her family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. Her father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect her and cast a teleportation spell that whisked her away. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal.

He wears a violet costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on his torso, and his gloved hand is found clutching a trident. His hair is blonde and curly. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are violet.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the west. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Fisher hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac.
