History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Hatae was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Hatae's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Hatae and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: He got into the Apothecary business at a young age. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He tends to his Apothecary job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
