History: Born in the north to a Spice Merchant, Mardnab learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and to pay off her debts
