History: He comes from a rich northern family. Through the years after Valafar was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Valafar's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: Ridaro was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered west to less war torn lands. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
