Personality: He is fixated on the number 40. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with dancing. She constantly tries to fill her life with dancing. She is ready at a moment's notice to give into her darker urges. She is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. She often ends up burning people alive in the fires she starts.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. Now she works as a dancing tutor during her time off.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and to share knowledge with the world

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She got money to start a business from the gang present in town. She is greatly indebted to them.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and she has decided she is irredeemable

Description: A plain young-adult woman, she wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. She has wavy auburn hair. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her green eyes.

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. She is obsessed with her god.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. His chestnut hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His eyes are hazel and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes drow are coming to abduct people. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many drow want him driven away; and he wants revenge against drow

Description: This man stands a little under 6'5" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears green leather gloves, a green jacket, and tight pants. He keeps his long chestnut hair kept up in a rat tail. His fierce black eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Chem embodies much of what other species detest in the Tieflings. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He bought a trident and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and to be a miner again

Personality: Hatae speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and to share knowledge with the world

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A freak accident while working with his Slave Trader mother left him crippled. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and nothing but the best is good enough for him
