Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Kansif was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Kansif fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: This woman stands a little under 5'11" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She wears skinny pants and wears a brown and pastel robe with the hood down. Her cinnamon fur is thinning but still full. Her eyes are amber and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: Five hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. She married young, but lost her spouse to gnolls. She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Map Maker and was forced into it by her family; and to reunite with her absent mother

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bookbinder. He became a Bookbinder soon after.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Beggar for hire.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Edge never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
