History: She was born in a small desert village. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and she desires power and/or immortality

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Through the years after Spring was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Spring's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Jarana grew up listening to her father's many stories. She found a children's book about a Dwarf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

History: She comes from a rich northern family. Her parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when she was still a young child. The dire rats captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He tends to his Dyer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
