History: She got into the Blacksmith business at a young age. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Blacksmith. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Her long auburn hair reaches down to her waist. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Spice Merchant profession.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
Motivation: To be a Spice Merchant again; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, William grew up listening to his father's many stories. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Portia was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Portia abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.
History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She was granted divine powers by her dying sister.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has never given up on his painting dream.
