Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This man is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. His black hair is lengthy. He has gleaming, smiling brown eyes.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Halfling in existence. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: The child of a Stylist, who enjoyed hunting, Altho was taken on many hunting expeditions. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mercenary hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her singing with anyone who is interested.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Nim alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

Description: She is a paragon of her species. She is larger and stronger than most Humans. Her skin is dark but she possesses many yellow ritualistic tattoos. She wears tattered old clothes. Her black hair is well kept. Her face is scarred and worn.

Personality: She is witty, but her monotone delivery comes off as unnerving Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and she seems to be bored by most things

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he seems to be bored by most things

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he seems to be bored by most things
