He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. A freak accident while working with her Unemployed mother left her crippled. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When Ortegar reached his early adolescence his Halfling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions.
