History: Born in the east to a Soapmaker, Borun learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Soapmaker for hire.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Pyntle was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Pyntle's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has never given up on her music dream.
