History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Curran was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: He is renowned for his bright black suits and hats. He has done his best to style his silver hair to look like a famous performer. His skin is flawless and his silver eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: Nirgel wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Nirgel was born with his father's beautiful face. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He was granted druidic powers by his dying brother.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her parents enrolled her in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that she could practice her arcane talents. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and wants to raise her children well

Personality: She is fixated on the number 47. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Description: He wears a white costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on his torso. He has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. He has dyed his greying red hair a little too much giving a sharp red color. His eyes are a pleasant brown.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. The war was a terrible time for him, and Ar-Pratu does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Ar-Pratu alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Ar-Pratu was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the goblins.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and retire the richest woman in the north

Description: She is an average looking southern female in her early mid-life. She is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Cartwright. She has done her best to style her red hair to look like a famous performer. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with dancing. She constantly tries to fill her life with dancing. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Vani is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. In her 17th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She now mingles about in high society.
