Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she wears pastel robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally she wears more armor. She prefers to carry a glaive, but if one is not available she will default to her ceremonial dagger. Her fur is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her amber eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.
History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Through the years after Shadow was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Shadow's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and many gnolls want her driven away

She wears blue trousers with green and brown striped suspenders. She wears various colorful collared shirts. With bright black hair. Her eyes are amber.
Personality: She is mildly Gnome supremacist, though she does not identify as such. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.
History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the west. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. In the meantime she has taken over work as a Fletcher and occasionally as a mercenary.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: This woman stands a little under 3'0" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates her frame. Her blonde hair is cut short. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.
History: Mardnab was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Mardnab took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up quarterstaff and armor she uses now. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Sage for hire.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.
History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Aramil grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Tabaxi companion (his 'brother'). Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Aramil was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.
History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Kristryd abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Kristryd fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
