History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Birel alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Some 4 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Birel never married again.
