Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Adelard was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying north to reunite her family. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Cecily was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.
