Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.
History: Efferil hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Description: He has a missing left arm. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His white fur is long and unkept. His amber eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.
Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.
History: Gale was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Gale abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.
History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Adventurer for hire.
Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Description: This malnourished woman wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally she sports a tan coat. Her golden hair is cut short. Her hazel eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.
Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: She was raised in a mountains tribe. While she appears to be a normal Elf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

Her black leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and her grey boots flare out at the collars. Her skin is also unnaturally pale. Her hair is red and very short. Her fierce violet eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Matilda is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.
History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She now mingles about in high society.

Description: He is a pot bellied southern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He prefers to wear violet clothing when he does not wear armor. His head has been shaved. He is baby faced.
Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is obsessed with finding treasure.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Galinndan grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Galinndan. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
