Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. The war was a terrible time for him, and Diggory does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born to a Locksmith, his mother struggled to pay the bills. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Gifted from a young age, Kipper studied abroad. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scimitar.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and she has passion for adventuring and risk

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: Dariff is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Shipwright arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
