History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Barbena abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Dyer for the past few years.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and she desires power and/or immortality

He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. Fibblestib enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born in the east. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He became a Soapmaker soon after.

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Meena was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Motivation: To settle down with her crush; and wants to open a new tavern

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. He found a children's book about a Gnome Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
